soak my boas in a solution with reptile relief? i did it a couple of times with no problems but i want to know if it is o.k.
i plan to purchase a can of provent-a-mite tomorrow to clear out the tamk of these bothersome pests.

Unfortunately, I've had to deal w/ mites also. What I've found works best is to clean the cages thoroughly, and ad newspaper sprayed w/ provent-a-mite to all your cages. Take away wood shavings or any other cage furniture (other than hide boxes). A few weeks (4 or 5) of this treatmnt usually takes care of the problem.
