Gaboon morph question!

I have a male w.a. gabby that is almost 2 years old.Every time he sheds he is getting lighter, like when you buy dark bleu jeans and wash them alot they fade. My gabby is doing this, the pattern is still strong and clear but he has an acid wash look to him.I keep him with my other gabbys and none of the other's are doing this so if anyone can help me I thank you in advance.
