Spelling/grammar on the 'net.

I've noticed more and more that people's online forum posts are nearly impossible to read. Granted, I'm not an English teacher, but here are a few hints to make posts more readable: punctuation is your friend, line breaks are a plus, and abbreviations like 'ne' and 'u' are great for real-time chat, but if you have time to post to a forum, spelling out the entire word makes it much easier to read.

This isn't meant to single out kingsnake posters (although 70% of the gallery comments seem to be written by 4th graders), so I'll leave you with a present: dictionary.com.

offering a SPELL check like most other sites offer ? While i know that we are not all holders of degrees or something like that...i don't see a problem with post of unspelled or not proper grammer in written form and or the correct use of commas, periods, etc. Maybe you should visit another web sight where you might find people of your class > ? My problem, I'm aging with some eye problems and being semi-dyslexic......

Been through this...Many who post here are very young and while the spelling is often deplorable, the need for these kids to get the right information about herps, outweighs the grammar issue.
