Last night it was storming pretty hard here and then my dog starting snoring very loud. After each snore I started to hear a shrill chirp of about one second long. It was in the house, and I couldn't figure out what it was. Everytime the dog would snore, the chirp would follow immediately. When I finally thought of my pixie, I got up to go into that room to investigate. Unfortunately my standing up awoke my dog which stopped the snoring and also the following chirps. So, two questions. Does P. adspersus have a sort of shrill call(best way I can describe it) and does this chirping give an indication on what sex it is. I've had him for about a year and have never heard it make a noise. If it was the frog chirping, I was slow to think of the frog because I was expecting more of a deep based "Ribbit". Thanks.
