No...I'm not kidding. My boyfriend has one and I don't want it to get big, i like it. He insists that it isn't possible but if anyone has any ideas it would be appreciated!

the only way i think you could do that would be too put him in maybe a cheeze whiz jar for the rest of his life, deprive him of much need nutrients and starve him to a inch of his life. Besides being a very dumb idea this is extremely inhumane.

i dont think i or anyone would want to be forced to stay a child. If your going to be responsible for another things life, respect every part of that life including the majority of it...being an adult wd.....if you cant handle the thought of having a large lizard then a wd is not the right animal for you, maybe stick closer to lets say an anole????

what would you rather have a a healthy normal water dragon that grows normal or do you want a sick dying, in pain, small water dragon? I dont think you understand what im getting at here, you cant have a small water dragon and i personally think you should get rid of your water dragon to a rescue shelter or maybe to someone who can actually care for a water dragon, because i dont think your much of an owner if you want to do such a inhumane thing. go buy something small or nothing at all if you cant accept how an animal is. i personally would prefer you to choose the latter, your just not a good candadite for a water dragon.

by the way dont argue with someones answer even if its not what you want to hear, you asked and i told you.

remember this is just my opinion but im sure im not the only one on this forum who feel the same way as me.

oh well, thanks for the advice but its too late. i've been dusting his crickets with coffee grounds (since coffee can stunt your growth). he gets really hyper...i think he might be addicted to the caffeine. it makes him run all over the cage and he plays in the water for about an hour splashing around haha and climbs around on the vines and jumps off over and over...but then it wears off and he sleeps and is back to normal. hopefully this will work!

are you serious blissful ? god sometimes I think they should have tests to see if you make a suitable owner, so they can keep idiots like you away from animals.

You really are a cruel person and I wouldnt recommend you keep animals. however, if you are really feeding your dragon coffee i suspect he wont live all that long.

If you want a smaller lizard Anoles arent that bad, some alpha males are quite large. AND, if you keep them happy and provide vitimans, they can get quite colorful. I had an alpha male once, when i bought him, he was the bland green. By the time he died, he had a spectrum of colors on him, including green, yellow, gold, and even some blue and purple specs.

However, this invloves providing proper care for your lizard, which im not sure if your capable of. i feel like screaming REDNECK for some reason, but i will restrain.

OMG!!! The sad thing is she is really determined. What you are thinking about doing and have done is really cruel. I was going to suggest a crested geck to this person, but she shouldn't have any. Maybe in the future someone will invent a safe hormone that will achieve this but untill then theres no way you can control their growth.

Somebody should report this person to the authorities.
