Hognoses are great snakes. No, most are not aggressive at all. The only time I have ever seen them try to bite was if I smelled like food and they were hungry. As long as you get a captive bred Western Hognose (not Eastern or Mexican), you shouldn't have a problem with feeding f/t mice. They ae renowned for being difficult feeders, but most of those problems can be solved using the many techniques you can find by searching this forum. Overall, they are hardy snakes, great personality, and fun to watch.

There are many good breeders - just do some looking. I haave had good experiences in the past with XTrememereptiles.com, and their prices are generally good.

Good luck with your hogs...you'll love 'em!
