>>Hey Rea,
I really don't know what to tell you. I have to take about twenty pics to get one good one.
One thing that seems to make a difference is the lighting I use.
I use Reveal lightbulbs.
I usually take my photos on a table that is set up under a ceiling light with a 100 watt reveal light bulb and I also have two dome lights with 75 watt reveal bulbs shinning in from the sides.
The reveal bulbs seem to give a more natural lighting.
Other then that I don't know what to tell you.
Oh yeah...I use a Nikon 3100. It is just a 3.2 megapixel camera with a 3x optical and 3 or 4x digital zoom.
I just make sure not to try and bring the subjects in too close for the photos.
With the digital zoom I can bring them in for closeups on the computer.
sorry
Jimmy

I snapped a couple of quick pics of the amel motley.
They aren't the best but they give a pretty good idea of how he is coming along.

Thank you very much. Here is a pic of Little Miss a couple months after i got her.She looks nothing like she does now.

PAsnake Jul 21, 2004 03:08 PM

That is one bright corn, gorgeous snake you have there

Smuffin Jul 21, 2004 04:37 PM

Thank you very much. I am so proud to have her. She was my very first snake..

carl3 Jul 19, 2004 01:06 AM

Not the prettiest corn I have but its the first pic I accessed since its late and I'm tired.lol. She gets an 'A' for effort though since she is the smallest, slowest growing corn I own due to her unpredictable desire to go off-feed.
