i want a king snake

is a californian king snake a good snake to keep as i have never had a king snake and i wondered if it was a good one to start with. if not could u please tell me one i could keep as a beginer with kings.

Go to the bottom of this page and click on page 3. Then scroll down to to the posts "are kingsnakes a good beginner snake?" and "thoughts on what makes a good snake." There was some very good discussions on those threads. There is also a great chart that lists some of the major attributes of various snakes so you can compare different species. Read through those thoroughly and if you have any specific ?s ask those.

yes!! cal kings are great snakes. sorry everyone if i am geting on your nerves with my advise but this is one i can answer because i have two. through experience with different snakes california kingsnakes are my favorite snakes. just before you jump to conclusioun and get one first set up the cage and let some of the other people help you on that or look in books. find out all you can about them. get the right stuff and find out them temperment(if online) if you go to a pet store or breeder hold it and ask ?'s. sorry every one if i am bothering you with all my horrible adizice you so call it. so i will not give advice any more!! ):
