new arrival

I went to Petco yesterday to pick up some dog food and noticed their "new" reptile area. Much better than it was. I noticed they had a bunch of day geckos for sale (mostly lined and gold dusts)

anyhow I noticed this guy (he was the most active one in the bunch!) - pointed it out to the manager and he asked me if I wanted to adopt it out. I said sure. He then proceded to give me a 10 gallon tank and a screen top.

he is now housed solo next to my other day geckos. He had already downed four crickets and deficated. So I assume he is fairly healthy being active and eating. the wound is long ago healed.

anybody have a good name for this guy?

Hi there:
NAME SUGGESTIONS
Popeye, Brainerd, Snippet, Hollandaise, Geckster the second (I already took the name Geckster, modeled after "Dexter."

Glad to hear that he is well. Usually in Petco everything seems to be dying. I once saw a tarantula in with a leopard gecko! But for some odd reason their day geckos always seem to be doing well. Good luck with him.

DAVE
