I am looking into Barrs cages and am wondering what size cage you recommend as best for Cresteds. I like these cages because they seem functional and a good way to display!
Thanks.

Barrs (Herpcages.com) cages are great. I've got about 20-30 of them for my snakes. I use racks with sterilite tubs for my geckos simply because I keep so many, but for a display, they're awesome.
For several babies or a few sub adults, the 12x12x16 arboreal ($42) works well. Obviously, the bigger the geckos get, the fewer this cage will house comfortably.
For 1-3 adults, I'd give them at least a 16x16x20 arboreal ($85) or maybe even the 20x20x20 ($100) if you really want a nice display.
Don't go strictly by what you see on their website. There is a lot that's not on there, so if there's something you want and don't see, it's probably something that Doug Barr can do.

Thanks for the info! I just love those cages
Would you say that these cages are better for cresteds than an aluminum screen cage? or are they about the same benefits?
The thing I like about these cages is that they hold humidity better than screen.
How about their ability to climb on the cage, as another thing to climb on in addition to branches and vines???
Is it easier for them to climb on the sides of these cages as opposed to aluminum screen or screen mesh?
