` Here's a little over 23 feet of Anacondas. They're Yellow "mini" Anacondas.

` There are 2. The big dark one is 13 feet or so. She averages 5 + inches in diameter at her thickest, when she is empty. Her diameter is quite variable as she is fed only 6 to 7 times per year.
` Here are a couple of current pix I just snapped.

i have heard these animals are extremely agressive, what have you all noticed? also, just out of curiosity, what kind of enclosures are you all planning for when they are fully grown? are you going to build something of your own with a large pond?

just curious.

I believe temper is from animal to animal...I have extremely docile anacondas...both green and yellow. they are very different but I trust them over anything else I have including ball pythons.

caging a 20 ft snake in my opinion is way easier than a 6 ft lizard...I would be more concerned about the 1000s of people with green iguanas. I dont have to deal with uvb, a high cage, and I use floor heat and feed once every week at max.

` Thanks Mr_Anaconda, I love to show 'em off.

` The trouble is, I have more fun with them when they're babies, than when adults. This makes me want to have too many snakes. Like now, my youngest is hitting two years old, and I'm Jonesin for more babies. I'm thinking about getting into Pituophis, and trying to talk myself out of it. lol

Tell ya what, I'll take some of those adults off your hands so you can get some new youngins. See I like adults, to me they are more impressive than the little nippy babies. I really like large snakes but not so large that I can not hold them, like you said "its more fun to play with them" or something along those lines.

` Well, I don't know about taking one off my hands, but you might take one off my face. LOL

I saw one that was at least 15 feet long. It was huge. I saw it about 1 1/2 years ago and it was at the Dixie Reptile Show. Only $500 with a great insulated and heated cage and it looked nice. Probably aggro though.
