An ig that is afraid of climbing!Possible explanation?

Flavia Guimaraes Jul 18, 2004 11:16 PM

Ok, i adopted out my 4 years and a half old male iguana. The experience was a failure and i took him back.He was a gorgeous and a self confident alpha male when he left home. When he came back he was thin, frightened, injured ( he badly injured his snout trying to escape from the new cage he was put in).He refused to eat and barely moved from the bottom of his old cage i put him back. After LOTS of kisses and attention he is eating again, a lot, and his snout is getting better. But he still refuses to climb his old cage walls as he used to do and is sleeping on the bottom of his cage.He never did that before being adopted out!
Do you have any idea why he is doing that?
