a few beginner questions

compasscreek Jun 21, 2003 09:36 PM

i'm considering getting a frilled dragon but don't and i have a few initial questions

how long do they get?

how much and what do they eat? some one had told me they eat mice, is this true?

what size and type of enclosure is needed? do they require a mesh cage or aquarium?

can you reccommend a good breeder? i'd like a CBB not an import.

Frillies are great.
Adults do need a decent amount of space--4 feet tall, 3 feet wide.
They eat mostly insects and adults will eat rodents.
Try KWE for a good breeder who has some frillies avaialbe now. He usually adverstises in the classifieds on Kingsnake and in the back of reptiles magazine.
You can check this care sheet for more info.

Hmm, that is strange. He is the only breeder that I know of that had babies already this time of year.
