My JCP is just over two years old and 7ft long, and about as big around as my wrist. She still sheds about every month and a half. Hope that helps, Eric-

I usually feed every 7-10 days. She ate ten five day old chicks last night and seemed like she could have taken another ten. She usually digests and gets very restless withing about five days. She won't eat rats but will eat 15 plus mice a feeding. She's a machine.

I have a jcp also and as far as I can tell she is 2. I bought her as a yearling back in November 2003. She was approximately 3 foot when I got her. She is now 5 plus foot.
Once they take to rats, some won't eat rats, they will zoom in size. Mine seemed to double once she started to eat rats. She is up to large rats now.
I have read if you want fast growth feed more often. Slower growth feed less often. I fed her once a week at first. Only adult mice. Then she moved up to small rats, etc. Till now she takes large rats. One every 2-3 weeks.
I also had to get her a bigger tank. Once she reached 5 foot she was very restless in the 40 gallon breeder size tank I had her in. Now she has a 'palace' of 80 gallon tank with branches. She loves it.

A 7 ft jungle is a huge jungle, and at only two years old, WOW! My male coastal is just about 6 ft maybe, but still semi thin, Wish my female coastal grew like your jungle that owuld be an awesome breeder.
