Best bedding to use??

Right now im using bark... but ive heard not to.. then ive also heard not to use sand... some people are using slate... what is the recommended bedding or preferred bedding to use for leopard geckos??

Pretty much anything they can't eat... fabric, paper towel, tile, ect...

I want to go for a more natural look... I think I might get some slate... seems like it would be easy to clean and if she can eat it... Ive got bigger problems then bedding

anyone use slate? or have pictures of a setup using slate?
