what are some different types of green iguanas? Because i have 2 iguanas and they both look totally different-like color and stuff wise-

what are some different types of green iguanas? Because i have 2 iguanas and they both look totally different-like color and stuff wise- i was just wondering if some1 could send me a pic of every different type of green igauana and its name-i would like to know which regions my igs came from.......THANKS ALOT!!!! oh yeah and once i figure oiut how to get the quality on my camera to be really good i will send you some updated pics of my igs for you guys to help me sex them.......

well there are not any different types so to speak..

but each region has different patterns..

south american ones tend to have a reticulated pattern on them.. more black on there body making it look like a cmo pattern is the best that ica n explain it.

mexicans tend to be more orangeish and tend to have black banding on there under side

and central anmerican ones tend to be in between both. they tend to be more of tourquois color with the black banding on the under side. but they can also have quite a bit of orange.

that is the best that ic an do off the top of my head and i beleive that i got it all right..lol not quite awake yet

They both look like regular ol' green igs in that picture you have. What exactly are the differences in their coloring? Maybe it's a male vs. female thing?

they look like regular iguanas but the areas that they come from determines the coloring in the iguanas...

males and females can both have orange coloring but the males tend to be more orange but i have seen pics of this in females as well as males.

get better pics of them and i will try and sex tehm for you.
