Can someone tell me how long after the first clutch you could expect to see a second clutch? Is there some general time range? Or a time after which you can be fairly certain that a second clutch is not going to be forthcoming? Thanks guys..................

My snakes almost always lay there second clutch one week before the first clutch is due to hatch, so in about 53 days from the first clutch the second clutch will arrive if it is going to. This time frame has been steadfast year after year for me. The key to the the double clutch, which most of my snakes do every year, is to feed heavily right after she lays the first time. This way she can build up some fat before she goes through it again. The second clutch is normally smaller and less fertile the the first.
so far I have gotten two second clutches. The first female laid 28 eggs with 7 of them being duds in her first clutch, on her second she laid 12 with 5 being duds.
the Second Female laid 33 eggs her first clutch (all being fertile her second clutch was 13 all being fertile. I am still waiting on two more second clutchs, one shed yesterday and the other in in shed now.

mine usually lay second batch around the same time the first ones are hatching...about 60 days..

it may come a week later..or more........

mine lay 2 times whether I want them or not....and 2 laid 3 clutches this year..a first for corns here.......started too early.....
