I just wanted to hear or read your thoughts on this topic. Since there have been several messages discussing a "Platty" Kind of morph which I dont know what it looks like by the way, all I know now, is that I cant afford one ( $50, 000)!!. woa
and even the other morphs that are not as expenssive are defenitely very up there, Heck, I just bough my Ball from a bad pet store, she was sick with R.I but she is fine now, and I only Paid $20.00 bucks, even the heat light and bulb were more expensive than the Ball itself, but that's not the point. So why dont you experienced breeders help me out to get the "MAGIC" behind selling these beautiful morphs, (is it really profitable) what are the price ranges? the costs of breeding them and so on.
After all they are ALL Ball Pythons.

Thanks

Yes you can make alot of money selling ball morphs. Expecially high end ones. Hell sell 2 platties a year and quit work LOL. I sold off all my other snakes/projects to get into ball morphs. I purchased 3.3 100% het albinos. I'll be selling off 3.0 and picking up an albino male and 2 more het females. I'll have around 5k into this project. With Albinos going for 2500 a pop I need to hatch 2 to get my money back. If I can't get 2 albinos from 5 females I should just quit now lol. Anyways I plan to further my investment by picking up het pieds as well as axantics. Everything else will have to wait till I start producing.

You started out about how I was going to... although I planned on going with a few normal and 50% het albino clutches before I went into morphs full blown. I had 1 BEAUTIFUL male, who I still have, and I had one 100% het. albino male but he was just a juvi. then I had 4 pretty lil girls. Reading your post and thinking about pieds and albinos and the possibility of snows you added when you threw axanthics in there... **sigh** I really wish I could be breeding and hatching out some of those beauties... I miss them all... I just have my big guy now, but as soon as I get the money and the time, I HAVE to get back into breeding! I am dying looking at these pics! I want more BPs!!!! LOL sorry just venting, thanks for reading.

I bought a Spider to add to my humble collection and plan on putting him with 8-10 females this year, even if I only hatch out 2, I have already paid for my Spider, all the females and all their food for the next year, yes there is money to be made in Ball Python morphs(if I only produce an average amout of Spiders this year from 4-5 out of 8-10 females, and lets just say they only lay 4 eggs a peice, I should hatch out 16-20 Spiders!!) just be smart about what you get into and be prepared to shell out the cash!
