Hi, ive been researching tegus for maby a year and a half now.I think im ready to get one.But can i see everyones tegu enclosures.I am gunna start building my tegus adult enclosure before i get the tegu so i wanna see how your enclosures look..my enclosure is going to be 7 feet long 3 feet deep and 3 feet tall or 4 feet...with 2 levels(if its 4 feet) and the lower level will be a burrow that will only be accessible when he goes into hibernation..so it will have a door that i will opena d let him go down there during hibernation. and it will have a viewing window and an emergency exit incase i need to get him out.But i really wanna see other peoples enclosures!

because i couldnt think of a good name and i cant change it because u have to use a different email if you want a new name..i would have changed it a while ago..but anyways what does that have anything to do with cages

Heres my tegu's cage. He is only 18" long so this will do for now, plus he is not growing very fast. I think you probably meant outdoor or large enclosures, but I didnt see any other pics so here ya go!

PS: Im going to add another floor so he has more space and Im going to add some more plants and things so its not so bare...

Really, so you're gonna make it a 2-story? Maybe I should do that when I get my Tegu.

Mine is also bare and barren, but he destroyes everything every morning while trying to dig his way out every morning. Once I'm up I let him roam, so ya want a pic of my apt? LOL
