CL Pictures! =)

Hey everybody!

Here are some pictures of my new Collard lizards (I'm totally new to them.)
Both of the females layed eggs about a week after I got them.

Here is a pic of the females:
(In the pic, the lizard on top was gravid, and the one on the bottom had just layed.)

And here are the eggs:
Do any of them look ok? There is some pink coloration in them, but most of them are starting to turn yellow now.
The eggs on top are over a week old, and the ones on the bottom are a few days old.
Do any of them look fertile?

Some are questionable or shot, just keep em warm and see what happens!

You have pretty girls, they have been busy laying all those eggs for you,

Hope most are good, it is so exciting watching these cuties hatch. And oh how cute they are, you will see!

Nice pics, glad you posted them, keep us updated on the girls and their eggs.

Thanks!

lol, I have been into reptiles for years, (I'm mostly into beardeds) but have never kept Collards before.. I'm so glad that I have these now though because they're really awesome little lizards!
The male isn't very tame yet, but both of the females are so tame and sweet.

Both of the females are looking pretty skinny after laying their eggs, and I have been feeding them calcium dusted crickets.. Is it ok to give them some waxworms too?

Also, what type of Collard lizards are they?

Thanks, and I'll keep you posted on those eggs!

Yeah, these lizards are very sweet, usually get quite tame with daily handling. Your male will settle down soon, just keep trying to handle him.

Yes, the girls get very thin after laying, you can offer them the waxies, and they also like superworms, moths, and grasshoppers as well as the crickets.

Since you just got them, I dont know how many times they have layed this season, but usually have another clutch about 3 -4 weeks after the first.
So there appetite will increase again, quite quickly if they are going to lay again.

This may be there last. Do you know their backround? (keep up the calcium)

Some of my girls are gravid now with their 3d clutch, should be it after this.

What are your collareds names so we know who we are seeing,
