WalkAbout Farms gutload

Carlton Jul 20, 2004 11:09 AM

I just received a letter from Walk About Farms regarding their gutload. Their business (primarily a vet and herp nutritional research) has boomed beyond what they can deal with. They will no longer supply private hobbyists with gutloads (MAJOR bummer!), but will work with "professional herpetoculturists" only. I don't know if any of you would qualify as this, but maybe some of us could get gutload through you? Just an idea. Their products are really great.

I recieved the same letter and am wondering the same thing if I can purchase it through a breeder or vet. Thier product is top of the line and I am very pleased with it, I dont want to have to switch now that I found a great product.

I asked Kammerflage Kreations if I could get it from them, but they are out of the loop too. I think they are just selling to zoos and places like that - which is lame.

Come on people..... This doesn't have to be a crisis LOL.... I use Morgana's and it works great. Give her an E-Mail at reptayls@yahoo.com. You'll like it. I just recommended it to the poster above this before I saw your thread here.

How is the gutload from cricketfood.com?

Anyone tried it (for their crickets)? I've heard good things about it.

Ronnie Buck/AB Herps/cricketfood.com produces the best gutloads on the market, in my opinion. I do admit that I have heard good things about Morgana's gutload from a couple people but have not used it personally. I have used Ronnie's cricket gutload for a couple years now and have never once had a problem with him getting the order right, out on time or recieving poor product. Not only this but he charges a fair price for a comercial gutload, ex. his 2 for 1 5lb bag offer. I doubt anyone could beat the quality of his vet recommended products but if you want to send a couple free lbs my way to try I won't turn it down - wink, wink. All my animals not only have sencond to none colors but grow at astounding rates. It would be nice to think it is because I am a Chameleon keeping machine but in actuality, and reality of course hahaha, I believe it is because of Ronnie's gutloads, a healthy dose of fresh air circulation and the California sunshine that gives my animals the edge.

The gutload is nothing but the best available. Of course, that is my opinion but I have fed my chameleons nothing but Cricketfood's products and have never had a problem.
