Quick, newbie question...

I know this may sound inexpierenced, but i was looking into milksnakes, but i am unsure of the term 'pyro'. Can some one explain this term to me? Thanks

It refers to Lampropeltis pyromelana, the Mountain kingsnakes. There are many subspecies, but I most often see the Utah, Arizona, and Chihuahua Mountain kings for sale. L.p. infralabialis is the Utah Mountain king, L.p. pyromelana (what i normally see refered to as a pyro) is the Arizona mountain king, L.P. knoblochi is the Chihuahua. Hope that helps!
