I say this because of the much more noticable coloring on the belly toward the end. maybe it is just a northern. It is a ringneck right?

I would relly like to see more of the belly before I made a guess. Is it patterned with spots or not?
Of course this could be your albino Northern but the red tail makes me uncertain.

Justin, it could've been a regal, but no, the snake has spots, but they are going in a STRAIGHT line, regals have spots everywhere, and not in a line. They also either have a neck ring, or they don't, it's never broken up(unless from the Trans Peco population arnyi X regalis).

The snake has a broken neck ring
It's belly is an orange color until it gets to red at the tail
There are spots going 3/4 of the way down it's belly
The spots are in a straight line
This should be enough for Frank to get the answer.

From the info I would be inclined to say an albino Southern.

Ok, let me explain this snake.
It is a southern ringneck snake, found in someone's driveway in Tampa, Florida. The people that found it would not sell it or let anyone help them with it. This lady in Florida, Lindsay Pike, was able to get a photo of the snake. It lived in captivity for a few months, ate earthworms regularly, but as Mark has told me, it is now in a jar. Sucks though, very awesome looking snake.
