nice collection there, I love the biards, and I have a licorice stick. I dont think I could have asked for a nicer snake than my female licorice stick.

Very nice collection. I really love them Bairds. I'll be getting me one in a few weeks myself. Thanks for the photos.

Where did you get that albino texas rat I had one exactly like that but he died and im looking for another.very interested

Spardawolf Jul 21, 2004 02:08 PM

I kind of think she looks albino also. Anyway, she came from an Ohio breeder by the name of Peter Rushton, from PT Reptiles. I will hunt up his email address and send it to you if you would like.

Nice looking Texas rat snakes Paula. How's their temperament? Here's on of my wild caught Texas rats. She's from Bryan, Tx locale.

I have heard that the Tx and the black rat are the meanest ratsnakes out there, but mine are not really that bad. The little male normal never even tries to bite or posture. The albino/flame female will nip once in awhile. (mostly when she is in her shed cycle.) Now I did have a couple of Leucistics that were bigtime biters. Everytime you even looked at them funny they would get you. I guess it is all just in the individual snake.
BTW, that is one intimidating looking female that you have there. I do LOVE how they look!!!

Here's a nicer pic of her. She can be beligerant when she wants, but is O.K. most of the time. She doesn't like me to open the enclosure and just reach in. She's O.K. if I pause a couple seconds.
