hey, i lost my crested gecko last night. im not sure where to look, or methods to coax it out so i can find it, any suggestions would be very helpfull. thanks

especially dark ones (behind a bookcase or under a shelf)--when mine runs off he usually heads straight up the wall to the ceiling. Also if you think he may be in a certain room, try to keep the door closed to keep him from leaving but it doesn't seem like they tend to go very far when they get out. good luck finding him

yes....i would keep the room he was lost in as bright as possible during the day to keep him wherever he is, then when youve got a chance, make the room very dark to make him more likely to emerge. when i lost one of mine a week after i got it because i left the screen top cracked when feeding, i found him about 4 days later inside a spare 20-gal i had right above the tank she escaped from. maybe try putting some plants around the area he escaped from to coax him. good luck, and dont get too down. i tore apart the room about 3 or 4 times looking for her, but she showed up once she wanted to (when she was hungry and thirsty).

good new, i found her. i turned off all the lights and after about an hour i went back into the room, and there she was climbing on the wall. so i grabed her and put her back in her cage. but then, i see another little gecko walk across the floor. it was my little leopard that i lost around christmas time. it was a crazy day.

good lord, you lost a leopard almost 8 months ago and it survived all on its own?!?!
