African Fat-Tail Question...please help

herpeguitarogist Jul 20, 2004 04:20 PM

I got an African fat-tail gecko at the Arlington reptile show on Saturday and since Leos and Fat-tails are so similar (and since no one has replied to my post in the other forum) I was wondering if anybody could help. He seems to be in good condition. He just doesn't open is eyes at all and he never comes out like my leos do. The seller said that he was about 4 months, but he looks more like 4 weeks. Is this normal for geckos to completely have their eyes shut??

That is definetely not normal. I would get in touch with a vet as well as the breeder!
