Hi!

Well Spartacus is doing very well, I just saw him eat a green bean.
I have been looking for the info on giving him a bath but it doesn't really say how often I should do it. I got him home yesterday (Monday). Does he need water once, twice, three times a week or is there a sign that I am looking for to tell me it's time?

I will post a pic. as soon as I figure out how to do it, I'm not too good at doing things like that.

He is shedding right now, how long does it last?

That's a tough question to answer. You can offer him a soak when he needs it. When I first got my first two uros, I soaked them once every week or two weeks, and they both drank in about half of the baths. After they started eating well, I stopped soaking them, and they're well hydrated just from their food intake.

Shedding can last a long time. Soaking can help with that, too, but don't pull off any skin - it will come off in its own time.

Since you just got Spartacus, I would keep soaking to not more than once a week, if you do it at all. Any handling is stressful, and it would be good to give him a couple weeks to settle in and get eating well first.
