Breeding

cadams14 Jul 20, 2004 07:25 PM

I have green tree frogs, red eyed, gray, and barking tree frogs. How do I get them to breed? Not inter-species but in general. Please email to cadams14@nc.rr.com

First off, I would start with just one species at a time. tads can be very demanding, and having that many would be very stressfull for a first time breeder! THe easiest to start with would be the GTF, Increase the water area to almost half the tank, and a few inches deep, BUT make sure they can easily exit so they dont drown (tree forgs in general arent good swimmers) make sure you mist them often, and let them do the rest of the work! Depending on how many you have, a 20g tank or larger per-pair should give them all the room they need, and up your chances of sucess! Keep us updated!!
