Gargoyle420...Question for you.

I think I saw you post a while back about your purchase/adoption of your Bairdi Ratsnake. Did you adopt him from Bonnie who operates the Virginia Reptile rescue? If so, that's wonderful. I've met her a couple of times, and had I known she had that super looking Bairdi you now own, up for adoption, I would have been over there in a heartbeat. Right in my own backyard and I missed out on that one LOL.
Anyway, I'm getting one in a few weeks myself. They're awesome ratsnakes. Bonnie does an excellent job of adopting reptiles out, as well as having a large personal collection of her own.

Yeppers I got him from Bonnie. Now if I could only adopt a couple females I would be in business.I have never been happier with a purchase or trade or adoption. She is a good person.Im hoping Terry can set me up with some females soon.If my bairdi's personality goes into the juvies I will be a happy man.Ive owned snakes for over 20 years and never had one crawl out on my arm. This snake is non agressive and has no fear. All my past dealings with ratsnakes were mean bastards that bit and musked. Before all is said and done Im sure I will own a sizable collection of bairds.Im not going to breed to sell online.I think there will be a good market right here in my own area. Not that I will make a dime but maybe get more people involved with herps...Paul

Glad your happy with your Bairdi Paul. Yours is outstanding. My first and only Bairdi I ever had I ended up losing last year. From what little time I had her she was one of the most relaxed snakes I had.
Anyway, I don't have long to wait, I have one on order that will be due to hatch around the 12th of August. As relaxed as Bairdi are, I think Trans Peco Rats are every bit as calm if not more. Atleast mine is anyway. Both species have excellent temperments.
