Do I need to be using supplements for my box turtles? Should I be supplementing the same way I do for my BD's or what?

The answer is: probably yes. Depending on what you're feeding them, a multivitamin and a calcium supplement would be in order.
Rep-Cal Herptivite and Rep-Ca Calcium are excellent products.
I feed mine a very varied diet, but still will dust every batch of food with both of the products mentioned.
