I own no King snakes but keep checking in here for pics of your Easterns. My question on E-Rex is the yellow. Will that stay that color? Was it like that since birth? That is one beautiful animal. Thanks for any info on this snake.

Will Still (the breeder) could answer this question better than I as he owns adults. The orange will stay to some degree . How much I dont know maybe whats left or maybe it will all fade. Now the yellow color is actually quite a bit deeper than the pic shows. I would imagine it will stay like that or maybe get a little lighter.

Hi,
The bright yellow remains throughout adulthood. The orange fades with age to some degree, but many of my adults still retain a lot of the orange color. Each generation seems to hold the orange better than the last. Good F2s have started out as fire red and end up a pleasing peach color in adulthood. Maybe we should call 'em Georgia peaches?
