y0m0m666 Jul 21, 2004 08:42 AM

i bought my leo a plastis plant thing and all it does is climb on it. I understand they are not aboreal but this one is weird.
It is like 1 month old albino and is as healthy as can be.

Yah its normal mine try to climb up the glass, they're not very successful but its amusing for me to watch.

They are not aboreal but they like to climb

One of our adult females gets to the highest point in her cage (maybe 6 inches up) and jumps off. She can get a long jump distance of 6-8 inches. But at night she loves to get up there and jump, then climb back up. She is working on the distance for when the top is off. She sure knows when that is the case.

I'm "leo sitting" for a friend, and last night i caught her climbimg completly upsidedown on the screen lid! Also, I built my female a brand new enclosure, with multiple levels. now there are ramps to all the platforms, but she never ever uses them, she prefers to climb up the support poles :P I guess she likes a challange!
