I would use the turtle docks, but it seems anything with suction won't hold both my turtles up. Either the thing starts to slowing slide below water level, or the cups just completely detach. My turtles are both 11 years old and are fairly large. The male isnt nearly as heavy as the female though, and he is only about 3/4 her size.
Currently I'm using a small plastic stool with 2 bricks holding it down, then a large plastic container cover on top of that with a smaller one on top for level. it looks sort of like a house, where the female would sleep at the gap between the stool and the bottom of the tanks, and the male would sleep between the two bricks, and the top is for basking. Both of them fit on the area comfortably without having to stack on top of eachother.
So I decided I could do with a change to this set up, to make something that takes less space and allows more swimming area. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.

I was just wondering, first, you said your RES were older...have you had them since they were babies or did you get them when they were older? And...what kind of set up do you have them in? Just curious...most people talk of having like hatchlings to 5 years....or an older RES that they rescued.
