Is a 29 gallon aquarium good for a 3-4 inch turtle? Is a 55 gallon?

Is a ten gallon good for 3 1.5 inch turtles? is a 29?

The general rule of thumb you will here is you need 10 gallons per inch of turtle. It's a good guideline, most have less. If your turtle can swim around and get excercise you are doing alright. Be careful housing too many turtles together in a small space as they can get territorial and start fighting...a deadly business.

Good luck! Nancy

Yes until he for a while but he wll outgrow it pretty fast if he is a slider (especially a girl).

The 29 is better choice and they will again out grow this.

thanks
