My friend has a very bright western hognose.
He gets lighter with every shed.

that certainly looks hypomelanistic to me.

Generally when I see a post asking what phase a western is, the picture shows a simple, normal western hog. This was a pleasant surprise.

I'm not sure what phase that is. But I have a male that looks just like that one maybe even a little lighter with green/tan blotches. I don’t think mine is a hypo because it has black on its belly. I've been looking for a female just like him with no luck. I have seen a couple of other males like yours however. Mine's CB'01, what's yours? Maybe they're from the same clutch???

BTW... I breed this male with my light colored female this year so I hope the hatchlings look as nice.

OK, here's a pic. It could be better, But I don't have any other pics.

I have a male that looks just that too. I was also looking for females with no luck. Why are females so hard to find? The pic attached was supposed to be a 100% het for albino female but I thinks its actually a male.

I have two males WC '04 that are light like this. I wonder if it is a male thing? If yall happen to have a clutch or find a bunch of females like this please let me know.

Oh, is that the snake you were talking about? Maybe I'll get some females that look like the male from this clutch I have incubating. If I do though, I think I'll keep them. Did the western with the black head shed yet?

I don't know who bred this snake, I got it by trading.
This one is also a male and has a partly black belly.
I don't think their from the same clutch however, cause I live in the Netherlands and I presume that youre from the USA.
