Does your everglades have an attitude? My sister has a little male, and he really has some kind of attitude. He see's every move you make, and if he doesn't like it he lets you know it!!! On the other hand her female is pretty calm. They are quite beautiful!!!!
I also like the yellow very much. It makes me wish I wouldn't have given my sister the little yellow male that I had. Oh well, maybe someday I will get a hatchling from her.

Yes, the everglades is a little pistol. It will usually try to strike me at least once when I first reach in to pick it up.
It doesn't settle down very quickly when I'm holding it, either.
The yellow on the other hand, is just as tame as any of my corns. I didn't realize there was that much of a difference in the body types of the everglades and yellow rats, but the yellow is a lot longer and thinner while the everglades is shorter and thicker.

Once again, very nice pics! I may expand my interest in rat snakes NEXT year to include everglades and yellows. I like both but I never see two pics alike. They both seem to be so variable. Well, its good to know about temperment too. None of my black or baird rat snakes are as easy to handle as corns. And then there's the musking.lol. Do you have mates for the rats that you posted? If so, seems like you'll be a good person to know when they breed.lol.

Jason
