I know a way to sex young boas without popping or probing, is their a similar method?

unless a year old or more..maybe not able to pop.....then need to probe

seen people pop adults...I have done a couple......but it is harder and has to hurt........

If you pop in the late winter sperm plugs might show up.

I've been burned by taking the "breeder's word" 3 times in the last year. Females that turned out to be males. Probing is the the best method and breeding is the only guarantee. It sucks to raise females for 2-3 years to find out they are males.

Hold the snake on the ground, (on its back) then place one foot on the tip of the tail and with your other foot, make a qiuck forceful stomp to its midbody, and this should evert the hemipenes. Hope this helped.

little Ford truck once...when that tire got fully on top of that big old snake...(*run head to tail not tail to head..or it won't work)....them penes just popped right out....

yep...you can pop an adult male..no matter how big it is.....
