caiman not eating

xcaimankidx Jul 21, 2004 05:59 PM

Hello -
I recently moved along with all my reptiles and they all made the transition great except for my caiman. Before the move he was a very good eater and for the past three days he wont eat anything. I have put hoppers and fish in there for him. He just lets the fish swim around and the hoppers float to the bottom. Im worried, any advice? Is this normal? Once he is settled in will he begin to eat again?

VERY NORMAL, MINE WENT OVER THREE WEEKS WHEN HIS NEW ENCLOSUE WAS BUILT, I WOULD JUST LEAVE HIM ALONE FOR ABOUT A WEEK, AND THEN START FEEDING HIM AGAIN, BUT IN THE MEAN TIME DON'T WORRY. JASON
