Hello,
On average, how much should an adult (1 yr old) beardie weight in grams? I tried searching the forums but the new way of searching is terrible (no offense) because you cant search specific forums anymore, so its very hard to get what you're looking for. Thanks for any responds! =)

It really depends, but a good weight could be anywhere from 300-600 grams. It really all depends on the dragon. Some may even grow a bit slower and then pick up the pace around then. Chris

Hi Mellissa,

On average 350 grams for a one year old. But as Chris points out they vary immensely. I did a graph of age versus weight for three clutches from three different pairs of dragons. I kept data on arounf 35 of of them for 9 months and a dozen or so for a year or more. The difference is astounding. at 3 months old I had dragons as light as 10 grams and as heavy as 90 grams, at 4 months old 30 to 106 grams, at 6 months old 82 to 175 grams and at one year old tha range was 175 to 450. I also had babies that grew at the slowest growth rate for three months then something kicked in and they grew at the fastest growth rate of any of the dragons. One of these days I need to put that data graph on my website, it is very interesting to see and very calming to those people who have slow growers.

Regards,
John
