Only eats crickets it sees.

Our anole seems to only eat crickets it sees drop in front of it. I've seen a cricket walk over it's tail and nothing. Is this normal?

Yep, that's pretty normal.

My green anole will see and go and eat a cricket or fly etc wherever it is. Even if the prey item is on the opposite side of the tank (2 to 3 feet away). So i would say that your anoles behaviour is not normal, but i am no expert.
