Elaphe conspicillata

Seanasaur Jul 22, 2004 12:45 AM

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some good husbandry info for E. conspicillata. I have two wc specimens and they haven`t eaten for about 2 months.
Cheers,
Sean

I keep mine on moistened peat moist. They need plenty of cover and opportunity to burrow. Have a hide box with moist sphagnum moss, and maybe even a dry box. They are kept fairly cool (room temperature ~75F). Try feeding with live pinkies. They tend to prefer smaller food items. If you have more questions, email me or my friend Rex (rex@martintheatre.com).
