Im asking this for a friend who doesnt have access to the internet. She has a new ball, maybe a month old, that isnt eating. No surprise there. The problem is that the little guy (a baby, maybe 18 inches) seems to want to eat now, although he didnt before. When given food he repeatedly strikes at it but doesnt get it and doesnt roll it up. Hes only grabbed it once but promptly regurgitated it. I told her to feed him fresh killed, but it was the same. He only strikes at the mouse, hitting it with his nose. He doesnt grab it and doesnt keep it down if he does get it. Any ideas what she can do?? I was of no help at all on this one.
Also, it may help to know, her snakes came from the same pet store as mine. They are known for not caring for their animals well. Snakes are often dehydrated and underfed. Could this have anything to do with it??
