WE ARE PRETTY NEW TO THE SNAKE WORLD BUT WE HAVE FOUND THAT OUR NEIGHBORS KIDS HAVE GIVEN OUR BABY'S MITES. WE JUST TREATED THEM TODAY WITH MITE OFF BUT WE ARE WONDERING WHAT THE BEST TREATMENT IS AND HOW TO KNOW WHEN THE MITES ARE GONE.

How did the kids give them mites? Pyrethrins kills mites. Anything with it will work. I would use multiple sourses. Prevent-a-mite for your cage and mite rx works well to put on the snake. also offer a large water dish..large enough to soak its entire body in including the head. Often times snakes will drown the mites since they do not want them either.

Can't comment on mite off, never used it. I have used reptile relief and it has worked. Spray it directly on your snake. Can be used to treat inside of cage.
