Adult male Outer Banks King, Hatteras Island locale

Peter_Jolles Jul 22, 2004 06:26 AM

I was fortunate enough to pick up this snake and a matching female ~ along with a 1.1 pair of Ocracoke Island Outer Banks Kings as well.

Both pairs are proven breeders and I am "fattening" the females now in preparation for 2005...

Zowieeee..!Very nice.
Are all the OBK black and white like that or do some have red/orange pigment in them?

Rainer, pretty much they are all creamy specs and bands on a black or dark brown background. My adult Ocracoke male is very light - much lighter than the Hatteras male shown in the pic.

All together I have 4 sexual pairs of OBX Kings and 3 lone males. I hope to be producing A LOT of these over the next few years...
