feeding

As you all know I am the owmer of a recovering sick Mali named Buddy. My question is... He was eating his greens OK and I read that they like bird seeds (he doesn't) and beans. Well he went to town on the beans so much that he won't eat his greens and vegis. I stopped adding the beans to his food and now he digs throu his food dish looking for the beans and not eating the other things. My question is should I worry about this and keep feeding as I have or should I put back the beans. I know they get their water from the greens. Buddy can't afford to lose weight that he just gained. He is still VERY thin. His poop is also very soft. He has been wormed so I thought that maybe how mali's poop is. Please help if you can.

Mine does the same things with carrots you could try supplementing t-rex uro dust on it.
