im thinking about getting a red tegu from a reptile shop by me..they take very good care of their animals.I was wondering if a 7x3x4 cage is large enough for an adult female red to live in comfortably.she will be taken out and be able to roam around daily. but will she be pk in the cage while im at school and while i sleep..so she would be in her cage from 8pm to about 4 or 5 pm the next day..is that ok?ill also take her for walks on the path by my house and down my street so she can get extra excersize.

Yeah the size of your enclosure looks to be about right for an adult red. Just watch all your temps and humidity is all. I would be carefull on walks though not only could she take off but I worry about other animals dogs, cats, etc. good luck
