I checked the eggs yesterday and one of them has a few indentions in it. Its day 55 today. At this point in the game it wont hurt to check them everyday will it? Just a quick lift of the lid and moss to see whats going on. Also, I never had to add any water or change the moss throughout the entire incubation. Is that normal for you guys. There has been water beads on the bottom the whole time and the eggs looked good so I never did anything. My thermometer/hydrometer said the humidity was around 66 which I thought was too low in the beginnig but I could initially see water on the sides of the container so I jsut kept an eye on it. Im setting up little containers for everyone today and just waiting for the first pipper. Ill have pics soon hopefully.

Checking them daily should be fine. I used to use Hovabator incubators, and occasionally would need to add a little water to the vermiculite. I've since switched to a larger, custom-made incubator which keeps the humidity up much better. I didn't add water to anyone this year (as a matter of fact, some were a little too damp). At 55 days, I think its safe to say that the dents you are seeing mean the end is near, rather than a lack of water. Congrats on the clutch! A few more days before the fun begins!
