how do i pack turtles for shipping??

i have to ship some map turtles that are about 5inches was just wonderin if anyone who ships turtles could help me i as for the actually shipping i hope to just take them to a ups and send them overnight and tell them there meat or emu eggs or sometin so they make sure there real careful with the box.

Hi. I'm no expert on this subject and I'm just giving you my humble opinion, but I think that it's extremely inhumane & potentially disasterous to send live animals of ANY species through the mail, regardless of how you label the package. Think about how often mail gets lost; how roughly it's treated during transit; how such a package invites ignorant & cruel postal workers (should there be any along the way - not that I'm saying that's likely, just possible) to torment/mishandle/play with your wee little guys (imagine a game of football); how they have the right to live peacefully just as you do. Read up on the mortality rates for posted creatures - I suspect that they'll be quite high. How much risk are you willing to take with their little lives??? I hope you don't interpret this as a flame, but I vehemently urge you to find another way to send your turtles besides shipping through the mail or a courier service....
