I have a pair of hatchling mexican hognose. I mean hatchlings too. They’re under 4” long. Right now I’m keeping them each in their own deli cup with a milk cap filled with water. Here’s the problem…
The little guys always tip over the cap of water! I am trying to keep it simple because they are such small snakes. I’d like to put in some substrate but they keep tipping over their water and if I put in a bigger water bowl I’m afraid they could drown or not be able to find it.
So what do you snake breeders like to use?
I also have 6 nasicus eggs incubating which will hatch in early August and would like to know how I should house them.
Thanks in advance.
