I could use some advice, deciding on a proportional thermostat.

I have a 3 sweater box rack on the way for my little hogs and I'm going use about 50 watts of heat tape. I'm trying to decide between the Helix DBS1000, Helix basic syem 1001, or the BAH herp power proportional thermostat. I plan to order the 4" flexwatt from the place that carries the helix, so I'm leaning that way.

Any pros/cons, or recommendations?

Range of room temps could vary from 60 to maybe 90 degrees at the most, depending on season. Will I likely need more heat than 4" flexwatt in Winter?

The room has perhaps reached 90 degrees before, but I do have a small AC that I fit in the sliding door when it gets really hot.

I'm probably going to get one of the two helix thermostats, but I'm not really sure (don't understand) what features I need in a proportional thermostat. What is a power module? Is it backup power?
